thoughts on vases and flowers and faces
and other oppressive forms that lead us to desire the terrifying pleasures of formlessness
when it comes to foods that are round in form, my first love and eternal desire is for a donut. always. not because it tastes the best but because of what it lacks. just imagine the excessive and divisive pizza, with its nearly identical base ingredients which only delivers uncertainty and confusion via endless authenticity issues, its perpetual identity crises, and endless moral battles over what constitutes appropriate toppings. tsk tsk pizza! be gone.
but ahhh, the magical and holy donut. every outer circle, a threshold of pleasure adorned with hysterical sweetness and artificial colors that creates a perfect formless void at its center. and while i imagine that void consuming me as a i consume it i swear i hear allen ginsberg howling Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy! Holy!
